Description:

Acorvy syrup is specially formulated for supporting and restoring normal respiratory functions. Acorvy syrup contains natural herbal extracts acknowledged by tradition as well as present-day science for their beneficial role as expectorant, cough suppressing and soothing properties. Acorvy syrup formula is non-drowsy, sugar free and non-alcoholic.

Indications:
Acorvy cough syrup is an herbal medicinal product used to maintain healthy lung function. It works as bronchodilator, cough suppressant, expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic agent. It relieves the chest congestion, soothes the mucus membrane of bronchial walls and restores normal breathing. Acts as an antitussive and has a soothing effect on sore throat. It relieves symptoms of cold.

Ivy leaf Extract (Hedera Helix):
Ivy leaf is a well-known herb which is being used as an expectorant and mucolytic agent in USA and Europe since decades. Ivy leaf extract used for swelling and blockage of airway passages, to treat and improve lung function in people with bronchial swelling, to help bring up mucus and other material up from the lungs.

Thyme:
Thyme works as an antitussive and expectorant and also used for bronchitis, whooping cough, sore throat. European Medical Agency (EMEA) has documented the beneficial effect of thyme. Licorice:
Licorice has soothing effect on the throat and antitussive in action. Licorice is used for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, and infections caused by bacteria or viruses.

Vasika has mucolytic, expectorant and bronchodilator action. It relieves cough, cold, whooping-cough, bronchitis, fights off respiratory tract infections and helps in the management of asthma. Dosage and Administration:

Oral use:
Acorvy syrup is taken undiluted and regardless of meals with enough fluid (preferably a glass of drinking water). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If the symptoms persist longer than one week during the use of the product, a doctor should be consulted. Children below 5 years of age: 2.5 ml (Half teaspoon) 2-3 times daily Children between 5-12 years of age: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 2-3 times daily Above 12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoon) 2-3 times daily Duration of treatment depends on the nature and severity of the condition. Treatment should last for at least 1 week even in minor inflammation of respiratory tract. Furthermore, treatment with Acorvy cough syrup should be continued for 2-3 days after symptoms have disappeared to ensure complete recovery. If the symptoms persist longer than one week during the use of the product, a doctor should be consulted. Undesirable effects:

Common:

Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Uncommon: Immune system disorders: Allergic reactions of the skin (urticaria, skin rash) and systemic allergic reactions as dyspnea.If other adverse reactions not mentioned above occur, a doctor should be consulted.
